If you live in Alabama you HAVE to be sucked into college football. A couple of my old English soccer coaches who live here have even been sucked in and are now rabid fans after
swearing they'd never like American football. But it's especially easy to get swept away in it given the passion for football in this state. I'm still working on my Romanian co-worker though. His resistance is strong, but he will crumble eventually. Pretty soon I'll have him eating barbeque at Dreamland
You've gotta like a woman who says you need a bigger TV and you've got to
LOVE a woman who wants it because she wants to watch football. It'd be a shame to waste that TV on Auburn though

I'm obviously a Bama fan (and alum), but I don't blindly hate Auburn. I actually pull for them quite a good bit. Neither team has been anywhere near their potential though these last few years. I like the direction Alabama seems headed with the new coaching staff, but they're going to be hampered for a couple years by their NCAA scholarship reductions. Auburn seems to have the talent to be very good, but they just haven't been able to consistently pull it together the last few years. Their best shot of taking control of the in-state momentum is coming up the next couple years. They better take advantage of it while they can
