What an awesome thread to wake up and read. My Skoorbie is a darling.

I go for Auburn and I wanna see them on a decent size TV. Nothing is worse than a teeny tiny TV for anything. I also want a nice fast car and a proper piece of furniture to hold our stereo system...which needs a sub.

Of course, I want new furniture and new clothing. I am a woman afterall! :D

Love you Skoorbie.... :)

You want a really big TV, see my sig :). Projector prices have really come down in the past few months.

It's because she complained yesterday that our TV (27" bought a year ago) is just not big enough and we need a big screen to "watch football". I swear! We've watched a few games since we met some people in Alabama and that's what she said :) Once I think it's time to buy a big screen I don't envision any resistance :D

BLASPHEMY!! :D That's cool man.

Get a nice Sony 51 inch widescreen HDTV. I love mine. I park my ass on the couch all day Sunday and watch TV while doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, etc. Its great.

So you're an Auburn ( :D ) fan and Skoorb's an Alabama ( :disgust: ) fan?

I just hope that Cadillac Williams can keep from getting hurt this season. He's a great player and we need him so that Auburn can stomp Bama into the dirt. :)

If you live in Alabama you HAVE to be sucked into college football. A couple of my old English soccer coaches who live here have even been sucked in and are now rabid fans after swearing they'd never like American football. But it's especially easy to get swept away in it given the passion for football in this state. I'm still working on my Romanian co-worker though. His resistance is strong, but he will crumble eventually. Pretty soon I'll have him eating barbeque at Dreamland ;)

You've gotta like a woman who says you need a bigger TV and you've got to LOVE a woman who wants it because she wants to watch football. It'd be a shame to waste that TV on Auburn though :p I'm obviously a Bama fan (and alum), but I don't blindly hate Auburn. I actually pull for them quite a good bit. Neither team has been anywhere near their potential though these last few years. I like the direction Alabama seems headed with the new coaching staff, but they're going to be hampered for a couple years by their NCAA scholarship reductions. Auburn seems to have the talent to be very good, but they just haven't been able to consistently pull it together the last few years. Their best shot of taking control of the in-state momentum is coming up the next couple years. They better take advantage of it while they can ;)

I wouldn't be at all surprised, MrsSkoorb has very much adapted to Alabama. *snicker* :p
