I can't eat them . When I was young they were great Firm and full . As I have said many times I worked in food industry most my life. If you people only new the truth and differance in quality . I can't even eat the canned corn now . The only corn that taste good now is froozen birdseye(Dean Foods) I strongly advise you not to eat cool whip or Dejourn Pizza. for health reason . The FDA and its criminal inspectors are not to be trusted. I worked at place that makes these froozen pizzas and its not good . But with the class of people they hire its expected.

Someone used to make a lightly battered one that was pretty good. Not really fish sticks but more like battered fish fillets. I haven't seen it in awhile. It might have been Gortons.
 
Lets see take a bunch of questionable fish grind them up fry them and then freeze them to be eaten later... yea that's a recipe for tastiness. It's probably not even like mcnuggets where they at least reflavor them after they do all the disgusting stuff to them.
 
fish sticks are great for my kids. they love them. we make up fish sticks and tater tots every now and then.

for a dip you take mayo, ketchup and a splash of hot sauce. then dip whatever in.

its good and easy to make.

when i want fish i get the good stuff.

yeah i remember them as a kid.
thus the impulse buy when i saw it was on 1/2 price sale.

should have gotten the beer battered fish filets instead
 
I like whatever it is costco sells. Something something ultimate fish sticks.

I'll often use them as a simple way to make fish tacos.

they can be.

fish are flash frozen, most are.
the big fillets are cut, those make bigger fish battered products and such, the rest of the meat is removed and can be formed into sticks.
how much bread vs meat is just a matter of the price.

fish meat is fish meat.
