MR814 My connection seems unresponsive sometimes

Hey guys,

I set up the MR814 and my internet has been shotty. I get internet off cable modem and when I type in a URL and press enter, I see my cable modem lights working. That is great BUT only the partial page loads if anything loads at all. It takes repeated tries to load the anandtech website and I'm getting pretty frustrated. Does anyone know what's going on? Is it my settings?

BTW the computer that is experiencing these problems is connected by a cable not wireless.

Actually I have updated the firmware already.
Any other suggestions to solve this problem?

Ok guys, I don't know if anyone else is having this problem that I am experiencing, but it seems to have gone away.

What I did was I switched my connection to another connection port on the router. I don't know if the problem will resurface.

Maybe your router is defective......try switching it back to that port. Port number shouldn't make a difference in terms of unresponsiveness....

Yeah I thought of that, what I am going to do is run off the other connector for a time to see if the problem pops up again, and if it does not, I will switch back to the original connector port to see if I do in fact have a defective product.

The problem is I have been running the router for about a week, and the problem only started to pop up consistently during the past day or so, so I am unsure at this point what the problem really is.
