That said, he donates to alot of good causes.

Wonder how much Microsoft spends on advertising each year? Perhaps the 400 million is merely an advertising expense for Bill, with the aim being to build a good name for himself and/ or Microsoft in the US and globally. It's winning you over, where no amount of Microsoft commercials ever have.

Dude, Gates is only leaving 10 million to each of his kids. The rest of the money goes to charities. As much as people want to say he does it for the image, I don't believe it. Nobody writes away the second largest fortune in the world to charity unless they mean it.

There are plenty of filthy capitalists who realize they have more money than God and that giving it away is the right thing to do. But there are many who don't.

Of course, Gates is just one of those with a big heart and realizing that the money is going to do more good being spent than sitting in a bank.
