Mr. Flash 128mb compact flash doesn't work on Kodak DC5000?

Just bought the 128mb compact flash memory card (Mr. Flash) from newegg.com to be used with the kodak dc5000, but everytime i turn off the camera then turn it back on, it tells me that the card requires formatting and won't let me use the card until i format it. But the 8mb kodak combact flash card that came with the camera works fine. Does anybody know a solution to this?

Do you have a compact flash USB reader? If so try copying something over to that to see if it works.

it works if i swap out the kodak card from the camera with the mr. flash card, then it will not ask me to format, any ideas?
