Saw it this afternoon, it was an ok movie. There never was a dull moment though. It was nonstop action from start to finish.

Well, a lot of times it was very cheesy... but it was almost like it was trying to be cheesy at those times... sort of like the movie was making fun of itself... so in the end that's pretty cool...
The role technology plays in this movie is overblown and overdramatic. There's a part where a computer tech resolves a business address from the serial number of a SoDIMM memory module, in a matter of 10 seconds. There are other parts involving the largest pair of binoculars I've ever seen. You'll know what I mean when you see it.
Just like almost any Brad Pitt flick... you walk out of the theater thinking you're invincible and could do a jumping roll, pop up, empty a clip from your glock into a crowd of baddies, then drop the gun and snap someone's neck in one smooth motion. And that, is very... very cool. Angelina Jolie looks 10x hotter in this movie than she did in the Tomb Raider films, though her weapons handling seems to suck more. Pitt looks just as hot as he did in Fight Club (watch for the in-movie reference to FC, as well).
Don't go to this movie expecting a realistic action flick, because it's not. It's just a funny shoot-em-up with a smidge of drama and a heap of corny lines. Lots of beautiful people play parts where they're supposed to be intelligent and skilled, which is never fully convincing (*cough* Charlie's Angels) instead they come across as cardboard retards.
All in all, an awesome movie. :thumbsup: Now if you'll excuse me I have some necks to snap...

Best movie i've seen this year so far sadly
Sadly, because while it's an awesome action/comedy flick, there are a lot of better better movies out there...just none this year.

QFT. I went in not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised with the movie. The action, humor, and Brad/Angelina's overall performance made it a damn good movie.

would have been 10/10 except for 2 plot holes:
1) Jolie's team found Brads secret stash of weapons/money but...
since Jolie's team swept the house, how did Brad still manage to find his gun hidden behind the picture? Also, why were there still guns in the basement under the sink where Brad hide them? (i'm assuming brad hid them since he instinctively went under the sink and pulled out guns like he knew exactly where they were.)
2) In the massive gunfight at the Home Depot, brad and jolie's vests stopped bullets from machine guns. It looked like the bad guys were also wearing vests, yet dropped like flies, even from handgun fire. yes, brad/jolie had upgraded vests, but the bad guys should have survived hand gun fire EASILY!
kinda reminds me of Airforce One where all the bad guys wore the same kind of vests. Yet only the chief bad guy's vest stops the bullets. All the other bad guys died.

Yeah I noticed that too, but I tried to just brush it off because this movie isn't even close to realistic and isn't trying to be, so I enjoyed it for what it was

Pretty good, except for the parts noted above.
Favorite part:
Having the please of watching AJ in a sexy dress slide across her hallway floor on her knees with two assault rifles firing full-auto.....that was hot.....
