mpvs5 connection ?

recently my friend moved in to an apartment and I noticed that there was a plug on the wall said "mpvs5". It looked like it was for network, but the plug size was wider than RJ45 cables.

Does anyone know what that is and how to use it? I suspect it is a high speed internet connection.
