MPEG2 To DVD?

I used my ATI 9700PRO AIW to capture some home video tapes to MPEG2. I need to make those MPEG2 file to DVD. What is the easiest way to do it.

if you already have files in mpeg2, make sure they are dvd compliant mpeg2 files (your AIW software should specify if it's dvd compliant mpeg). If they are, then my program of choice is TMPG DVD Author. You can import your mpg files, and create your own menu's, chapter points, etc, very easily.

These MPEG2 files are DVD compliant. I tried using TMPG, but we I attempted to open the MPG file, TMPG simply exit to the desktop. What am I doing wrong.

What version of TMPG DVD Author are you using?

I don't recall the TMPG version. Anyhow, I used MYDVD and it was very easy to convert my mpg2 to DVD with menus.
