MPEG1 to MPEG4 converter?

I just got a new digi-cam (Canon S2 IS) and I love it but I have a problem sharing videos because the files are so large. It saves them in MPEG1. Is there any way to convert it to MPEG4 or any other smaller format? Thanks

Auto GK for Dvix/Xvid encoding. Easiest program to use for someone who doesnt know much about video encoding.
