mpeg-2 codec?

anyone know where i can download the mpeg-2 codec?

i use mulitmedia cneter 7.1 for my ati tv wonder card to record thigns off tv, and it records in mpeg 2, but i can't watch the files, they're .mp2 files and they open w/ winamp, but when i use windows media player, it doesnt find the codec...i downloaded this mpeg2 viewer, and that works to watch the file, but how can i make it work w/ windows medai player?
