<< The MPAA, RIAA, and other organizations have a lot of financial resources available at their disposal >>

I wonder why they have all this financial resources? hhmmm because they have been phucking us over with their 18 dollar cd's over the years.

Reminds me of the Ice Cube video where the record exec says "Sign your life...I mean your name on the dotted line"..

Nothing but a bunch of greedy bastids...take away newsgroups, napster and then IRC and morpheus...where there is a will there is a way and there will be another tp take their place.

Ya know, it's yer own dumbass fault for buying $18 CDs. I've always been able to find the music I'm looking for $15 dollars or less (unless it's a double disc set). But if you love shopping at the mall to find the latest Backstreet Boys disc then, yes, you'll pay $18 for a single CD.

Who is to say I bought them 18 dollar cd's..that's what friends, bmg and columbia house were for.

And I was thinking it was dre..even had it put in, but thought about it and then put in cube. Haven't seen the video recently, but remember that scene as well as the midget.

and MPAA and RIAA same difference(movies/music...same punks but different companies)..I'm still pissed at the MPAA every time I pay money for a crap movie. I think from now on I will stick with rentals, but those still cost 4 bucks.

If you were hosting all of those movies then you deserve what you get. You know it's illegal...

I would understand 1 or 2 movies that you had on the server for a friend to download, but all of those! Whoa...

That list of movies ain't nothing! I have this friend who has 5 times more movies than that...

but they are all on DVDs! :Q

But seriously, the only thing you can do now is sit tight and wait. Most of the time they are just trying to scare you to shut down whatever it is that you have running. However, I can say that the MPAA does look at IRC distribution since a few people I know have been "caught" so to speak and all they do is IRC. ;)

Good Luck. :)
