Hello all,
I've decided to buy a nice Portable Media Player for myself and here are the features I'm looking for:
>Good Memory Size (16-32 GB)
>A fairly big screen (2-3 inches) with a decent resolution mainly for browsing through the song list. I listen to music more than watching videos/movies.
>A system that can help me sort songs according to different criteria i.e., Album/Song/Artist etc.
>Good battery life.
>File storage facility (I may use it for transferring files occasionally too!)
>A user friendly Desktop interface, preferably one syncing with windows.
>Coming to cost, I definitely want it priced lesser than an iPod, lest I would have bought an iPod itself! 😛
Please suggest me products where I can find these..!

http://www.newegg.com/Special/ShellShocker.aspx <---cheap end of the scale, and only tonight May, 4th 2009. It is 8GB with a micro SDHC slot for more memory. I have its little brother the Fuze, and it is fine by my standards. With out paying a premium for a pod, yuck! Oh and it measures flat in frequency response no roll off of the lows or highs.
