mp3 title editing software

Looking for software that will let me name a song so the title/singer/etc will display on a mp3 player.
I currently have software that lets me record music as I listen to it. The software then creates a file name using the current date and time.
I would like to find and use a software that will rename a song I have now from the date and time to the song title or singer or whatever I want and display that info on a mp3 player or other divice capable of displaying song/title/singer info.
I have several hundred songs already recorded that need renamed. In addition to using the software I have now using another software to rename the songs would be great

MediaMonkey can do it also, though it's not the easiest piece of software to use.
