MP3 Sound Question

I installed XP on my computer. Since then my MP3s sound horrible. Like the vocals have been turned way down. I didn't change anything else. I've tried multiple MP3 players but they all sound the same. I've also checked all sound settings. Any suggestions?

Post hardware info ... what players you've tried, what sound hardware, plugins, etc.

Updated Drivers for your sound card, and all that good stuff? Also, run the Windows Update, to see if they have any updates for your hardware.
