Go to preferences in winamp, change the output plugin to diskwriter, select the directory where you want all the wav files to be extracted and then selected a bunch of songs and play them like you normally will. Then use any program and burn it in a music cd format. Don't forget to set your plugin back to waveout when you're done or you'll just keep extracting every song you play.

Most of the CDR burning programs that I have seen have the capability of changing mp3's into CDA format when burning to CDR. Simply drag and drop them into your disk compilation and the burning program will take care of the rest. I've had the best luck with Nero and Adaptec Easy Cd Creator, if your just starting then Adaptec may be easier to use but Nero is the superior product in my opinion.
Nero also has an mp3 plug-in that allows you to extract songs directly from your CD's to mp3 format.

MusicMatch and Nero are programs that can rip to CDDA (as its called) on the fly, so theres no need to make those huge .wav files. Those files were slowing my harddrive down so much.. Damn fragments.. :|

Musicmatch can be found at www.musicmatch.com, its free, so that makes it nice. However, one of the newer versions I had, may have been beta, liked to crash while buring. That problem may have been restricted to that single beta. So give it a try anyway.

Another option is Nero. Most people recomend it, and now that I have tried it, I also recomend it. It does of course cost money, but if you have the cash, its well worth it.

Ok what you want is .cda format, cda standing for CD audio.
Cds are .cda when bought from the store then people rip then to wav or mp3s and to get them back to .cda you just need to turn them into wav and burn them to an audio cd
For some software try this place
