mp3 players

I guess if you're going for a HDD player, too, the current Cowon iAudio line-up is fairly good.

my songs are sorted by folders, this way i can also have set "playlists". so iaudio players huh, ill look into it.
are there players that do both?
thanks

I think Creative can do it. On my MuVo, you can browse by folders.

Can you explain how to do that? I have a MuVo TX FM.

You use the creative software to load the songs right? You can create folders on the MuVo using that, then load the songs into the particular folder that you want.

OK, thanks. I'll take a closer look at Creative's software. I really haven't used it much. I just now opened a PDF manual that was installed with the software and I'm seeing some pertinent info on this issue.

I do not use any software with my zen nano plus - it is a mass storage device so there is no need for this. Just drag-&-dropping the folders (albums) into the root folder on the player and they show on this little screen. It was the same with a muvo I had earlier.

My little Sansa M240 does all of the above, plus it has FM radio, and can be used as a personal recording device. It synchs perfectly in Vista under WMP11 - folders and nested folders and playlists.
