Your only option is the iPod nano.

Lies... Zen Microphoto, I've never used it, but the Zen Micro is nice (my sister and Dad each have one).

Looks decent but there is now way that can compete with the Nano in form factor.

It is looks against performance: nano looks, arguably, better, Zen Micro Photo has way better battery life and features (fm radio, full eq). Myself I am using 5GB Zen Micro (not a photo) and have no complaints about it.

But there are other players too. Look for Rio Carbon - it is a very nice player or H10 from iRiver. These are all good brands with decent sound quality. Maybe try to think what matters for you in terms of features and then try a few models in a store.

Wow... my girlfriend really wants an MP3 player for Christmas... I might just have to jump on this deal, although it looks to be $200 now. Still an excellent deal nonetheless. Any chance I could get a Pink one for that price? Maybe try to talk to them to order one? Thanks in advance for a clearup on the price/color.

Sorry for hijacking, but that's a great alternative for an iPod for a great price IMO.

Don't get too swayed by the Ipod hype ...

I own the Creative Nomad Zen 30GB and my daughter has the Creative Zen micro 5GB. Sound quality is excellent and the battery is replaceable (I even purchased a spare). No problems with scratching like the Nano's were experiencing.

I'm not familiar with the new Zen Micro Photo but it looks like an improvement on the already impressive Zen micro.
