It seems I'm posting a lot today, but I got a chance to get a RIO 500 for around 140 after rebates/coupons. Is this a good mp3 player and if not what would you recommend?

Can mp3 players have like cartridges? For instance can I have it setup so I have one cartridge I could keep one type of music and another cartridge for a different type?

Any sites where I can read up on this stuff would be apprectiated. Diamonds webpage seems to be down.

Using smart media you can but the cost of smart media = almost 120 for 64 megger..

The Rio600 can support the IBM Microdrive (340 megger)

With that capacity you can put different songs on different drive, cost = a lot

Now, a digital cam with support for CF Type II (which is the format of the IBM MicroDrive 340MB) would be sexy :)
