This isn't really a hardware question, but I am hoping someone here could answer a quick question.

I un-installed windows media player 7.1 (running win98SE). Now, all of a sudden (using the std media player that came with 98SE) a few of my MP3s wont play that did on the 7.1 player. The "error" is No combination of filters could be found to render the stream. (Error=80040218)

Why is this?

Can anyone recomend a good MP3 player for me? I do not want to install that horrid 7.1 again.
