mp3 player or sd card for pda?

kinda still iffy what i want is to be able to play my music and I have a tungsten E2 and i was wondering if I should just go with an SD card *1gb or 512 preferably 1gb* or just get a good nice sized mp3 player 0o i want it so it works with napster to go so if anyone has a deal on either an sd card or an mp3 player ive been stalking the forums for a nice mp3 player but their all above my price range i want something nice and not tooo expensive >.<

do you plan on working out with it? working out w/ a PDA would be cumbersome.

also you have to consider battery life. you don't want to have a long music listening session on your PDA, only to have the battery nearly dead by the end of the day when you need the PDA functions....

i'd get an mp3 player (and have one myself). therefore, you dedicate your music to your mp3 and your PDA-related activities to your PDA. color-screen PDAs have a short battery life, as iamme said. you'll get more battery life out of an mp3 player.
