MP3 enhancers

Depends on your point of view. Both DFX and SRS WOW are really advanced Graphic Equaliser plugins.

If you want a real difference, I suggest you try the MAD Plugin for WinAMP and listen for yourself.

That's probably a more appropriate question for the Software Forum, but it's ok 🙂

I don't know, I would look on Google.com - type in the name of the program and the word "review". As long as you have a good sound card, you're getting the most out of your MP3s quality-wise. You can of course turn on the WinAmp's equalizer to tweak the sounds, or use your sound card's Bass/Treble adjustments for more pleasant sound.

If you find out something interesting about that software in question, let us know.

Like AndyHui said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Try it out for yourself, both DFX and WOW offer trial versions of their plug-ins. However, I would recommend first trying Free Enhancer 0.17 as it achieves the same thing as DFX, but is freeware.

well, I have tried out both DFX and WOW. however, i discovered that the initial "wow" effect was really the volume boost that they provide which makes it seem like its sounding better. turn it off and it sound just like an equalizer tweak. but they claim to do "advanced software enhancing" of the mp3's so im wondering if that actually takes place or are they just bullshitting
