What's mozzarella cheese good for?

I just tried it for the first time, it was not spoiled or anything, had almost no taste, tasted somewhat like paper.
It isn't supposed to have a strong taste, I know, but why do some people like it then?

Must get fresh mozzarella. Comes in little orbs and is still somewhat wet. Mmmmmmm

it is also spectacular when freshly made in a real italian deli and put on a hero with turkey and sun-dried tomatoes.

You bought the wrong brand, good mozzarella is great.

I could live off of mozzarella if it didn't cause constipation.

Most mozzarella has very little taste, but fresh mozzarella is creamier and has some flavor to it. For the most part, it's used as a stringy cheese in things like pizza, lasagna, and other baked foods. (it's pretty durable)

Fresh mozzarella on a piece of bruschetta with fresh tomato, basil, garlic and olive oil is the best. (salt and pepper to taste, lol)

P.S. I like to cook. :D

What he said.

The best is a nice Caprese salad with good fresh mozzarella.

You must've had the REAL mozzarella, fresh for it to not taste like anything ;) The fresh stuff is great on pizzas and parmegans!

Jimmy John's #13 (no mayo)... sandwich w/ lettuce, gracamole, tomato, and sprouts...

though by far the best I ever had was at the Indy Airport... took a Mozzarella ball, cut it in 3 thick slices (still wet and great) w/ tomato and sprouts... now i'm hungry!

short answer: sandwiches

Sounds good.
I like to cut the Mozzarella into cubes, use cherry tomatoes and make skewers. Marinate in some olive oil, 'good' balsamic and basil. Then Chill.
Goes great with a nice steak.

Mozzarella is great, but really only the fresh kind. I eat it with damn near anything or just by itself.
