Mozilla Suite or Firefox & Thunderbird?

On Opera right now, but looking to hop on the Mozzilla bandwagon. But wondering...

Why does Mozilla have both a All-in-one Suite and individual software units Firefox & Thunderbird?

What's the difference?

Which should I use?

Firefox was made from the ground up. Mozilla is just a periodically updated version of what netscape used to use.

Therefore firefox > *

you can choose to only install the browser + mail client on mozilla if you want to.
the rest can be installed only when you need them.

personally, i like mozilla since i'm lazier and don't feel like updating two applications with each update. one mozilla is enough for me. plus, i like the interface better, especially now that i'm very used to it.

plus, a gigantic lizard can crush a red panda anytime ,p

it's all a matter of preferences.

Wow...that's some surprising ignorance. I'd say more, but there is thorough enough ownage above.

well for one thing mozilla has a quick-loader app you can use to reduce start times, which i definetely like. but firefox feels snappier when loading pages and i like that it's so stripped down. i have both installed on my computer but firefox is the default browser.

i use outlook for email because it's so easy to backup and restore everything all at once in one .pst file.

Thunderbird > Mozilla.
Then get Firefox.
Then hop on Mozillazine forums, and get an optomized FF build. Yum.
