Sorry, pressed the button too early :)

There's an extension where you can just double click on a plain text url and have it go there!! There are also the mouse gestures - hold down middle mouse button, move mouse left = browser back, hold down middle mouse button, move mouse right = browser forward. Gotta love the tabs too. Ooh, you can mess with font sizes much more than in internet explorer (I believe). Nice for people with 1600 1200 monitors. :)

Extensions

Their site is really slow though...

I believe this was the plain text url thingy here

Plain text url for me to enjoy - http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/textlinks

Another one - cnn.com

I finally downloaded FireFox. It's pretty cool but I have some issues with the way it refreshes pages and how it deals with tables.

Ooh, I forgot about the bookmark groups. Have my home page set to fatwallet, anand tech, and cnn

Also, tis possible to go to a web site with many pics, right click, choose show all image links in one tab, and have it load a page with only pics. :)

Yeah, you just say ok a couple of times. Are you sure you installed one meant for whatever browser you're using? Some are only for firefox

Is there a way to automatically open a new site in a tab, without specifically saying "Open in tab" ? I'm so used to CrazyBrowser for IE, and need my tabs to open for all new websites.

I tried looking in the options but cant find something that specifies that.

Not sure if its in options but just click the link with your middle mouse button and it opens in a new tab.

Tabbrowser Preferences will do that for you.

There is a preference for that, in the Tabbed Browsing section. Firefox may do it differently, but the behavior is configurable there too.

Anybody get the mouse gestures to work? I've installed it, restarted firefox and nothing ... also is there an extension that lets you alt-tab between current and previous tab? I found one on the site but the install link was down.
