Known Issues


  • Unresolved Two-digit browser version numbers may cause a small number of website incompatibilities (see 690287)

  • Unresolved For some users, scrolling in the main GMail window will be slower than usual (see 579260)
  • Unresolved Some synaptic touch pads are unable to vertical scroll (see 622410)

Yep, Mozilla site has 10.0.2 still. Should be out in a few days.

the only problem with the final that was posted is with some eastern languages from what i have seen.

It seems ok so far. But I do now have an issue with Yahoo Mail (not sure if related to Firefox V11 or not), but I no longer see the "add sender to contacts" option from within an email. Anyone else having this issue ? ? ?

According to their release schedule, Mozilla should offer Firefox 11 stable tomorrow. However, a few problems may delay the launch.

Some of the issues that may deter the development team from delivering Firefox 11 according to the plan, there is the security hole uncovered during the Pwn2Own contest at CanSecWest. Since there are no details about the nature of the vulnerability, the team is having a hard time patching the application.

Equally important is a bug that cannot be reproduced. It causes problems with the graphics driver blocklist, which results in crashes and blank/black screens.

The third reason is that tomorrow’s patch Tuesday and Microsoft’s updates might contain something that affects Firefox.

At the moment, the release schedule remains unchanged and the plan is to start pushing the updates on Thursday or Friday. The release candidate is available for download from Mozilla’s servers.

Ahh oh well. There aren't any features in 11.0 that I care for anyway, and FF10 has been flawless for me, so I have no issues waiting. I'd rather they wait and get all the bugs work out and come out solid product and not rush things.

Issue with Yahoo Mail seems to be gone (for now) ... most likely some glitch on their end.
