I have to say, Mozilla missed the boat on this one. It's buggy as hell.
First off, I have no scrollbar on the right - major faux pas. Also, on my navbar, there are no back/forward buttons.
They changed the format for the themes. You need to find an updated version of the theme you are using.
I need to find an updated version of the default theme? You seem to be under the impression that this occurred when I tried to install a custom theme - this was "out of the box" bud.

Try starting with a clean profile. It works fine for me.
Thanks, regular mozilla.org FTP download was hardly even responding.Originally posted by: Confused

Person 1: "Hey I just started using Mozilla!"
Person 2: "Oh yeah? 1.5?"
Person 1: "No, .8"
Person 2: "Oh you mean Firebird."
Person 1: "No, I think it's Firefox."
Person 3: "I loved that show on Fox, it's a shame they canceled it."
Person 2: "You're thinking of Firefly."
Person 1: "Wait, was that the one with the marionettes?"
Person 3: "No, I think that's an email client."

Does the Google Toolbar extension work in Firefox? If it doesn, I'll upgrade from .7, can't live without that though.

For 0.7 I use Pinball (see address below). Awesome theme - easy on the eyes, but not cartoony as hell like XP and Mac OS (is it just me or does the default art on every modern OS suck heavily?)
Anyway, I did a clean install of 0.8 - I uninstalled .7, deleted the file folders, and cleared out the registry entries, and still got those bugs.
I'll wait for a little more maturation before I upgrade.

Unfortunately, the version of Pinball on that site hasn't been updated since last September, which means that it won't work with FB .8. An updated version can be found here.

Why? Mozilla block pop up ads without the stupid toolbar and it has integrated google searching![]()
FF/FB does not have searching integrated in the address bar. It's two separate entities.Originally posted by: trmiv

Because I like the google toolbar maybe? I don't like the integrated searching in the address bar, I like having the google toolbar where I can easily search groups, images, as well as a get a history. Also, the google toolbar extension for .7 Firebird doesn't have popup blocking, because obvioulsy it's not needed.
