The servers aren't bogged down, I'm getting 48K/sec...not too bad

lol sorry 😉

Looks good so far, no crashes yet.

Eh, I dunno, I still think it could be ALOT better, I am not nearly impressed considering how much time they have in it....the load time still sucks....thats my #1 complaint about it.

I find that hard to believe consindering the system you're running. My Dual PIII450 system with an Atlas 10K loads it up very quickly.

Awesome, Mozilla rocks. Beats IE all to hell.

Has anyone else ever thought that Moz has better netcode than IE? I always seem to get faster, and much better sustained downloads with Mozilla. IE always starts off fast then drops a good chunk.

There is a patch you can grab to enable them, or you can install the Intellimouse drivers from M$. Either one will work.

Mozilla is cool 🙂. Well, I run Konqueror, but I do use Mozilla occasionally.

Have they fixed the text-field bug yet? That thing has been there for as long as I can remember.

Well on Winblows, you can enable "Quick Launch". What this feature does is it cheats like IE does, loading up parts of code during boot-up. Thereafter, when you open up a browser window (and the code hasn't been paged out to disk), it'll load up pretty quickly.

I don't use Quick Launch, and am satisfied with Mozilla performance because it's pretty solid compared to IE or NS 4.x. With tabbed browsing, Mozilla literally stays up for days of productive use. The memory footprint is large, but that's what 1 GB of RAM is for. 😎
