I'm glad that they finally got rid of the sea monkey icons.
I got so tired of Opera not being able to render web pages correctly that I deleted it from my hard drive, even though I paid $40 for the "bannerless" version.Originally posted by: JellyBaby
Kinda waiting for Opera 7 which should kick some mondo back-end.
Yep, that's why 7.0 looks compelling -- they're rewriting the rendering engine. Hopefully they'll add some of Mozilla's neat features like allowing requested (clicked) pop-up links.tired of Opera not being able to render web pages correctly that I deleted it from my hard drive, even though I paid $40 for the "bannerless" version.

1.1 works great on my Powerbook G4. A hell of a lot faster then IE!!

Actually, with the quick launch feature Mozilla loads faster than IE on a PC too.

Well maybe... if you're willing to give up 15MB of RAM whenever your machine is on... that's what quick launch essentially does to your machine. No good for my work laptop that already has 196MB and is left with 20MB free (without a browser open) most of the time.
Still, it doesn't load faster than IE for me... though I do like Mozilla 1.1 over any of the Netscapes that are out.
