my scroll has worked fine since i started using mozilla back at m9 or something archaic like that. as for the forum text box being half size, i don't know whats up with that, it was fine with the previous version.

But in the previous version, the word wrap didn't work. I noticed the smaller box at the same time the word wrap was fixed.

I don't have a problem with it.

i didn't mind not having word wrap. the small box is annoying. i wonder how easy that would be to fix?

i have the same problem RSI has w/ regards to the formatting. that and the WYSIWYG editior option doesn't work (lemme guess, IE only option?).

Same deal w/ the mouse. you know how you scroll click, it will let you move your mouse to scroll? Doesn't work in mozilla.

And yes, these are all minor things.. but these minor things tend to bug the hell out of me (still gunna use it for the tabbed browsing tho :)). And i will try binding the mouse thumb to back to see if that works. if it does, then dammit, i have to wait for IBM to respond to me.. .grr

Yeah, I bet the WYSIWYG is based on some Active X controls.

So, people actually use that scroll-click thing?? I hate it with a passion. My wheel button is set to BACK.

I love it. I always use it, it's so much easier to scroll around with it. There are too many little bugs like that in Mozilla, they need to be fixed, and quite frankly they can't be that difficult to do. Otherwise so far it's good, it seems faster and overall pretty good, formatting issues aside (don't know why they exist in the first place..).

I'll have to try out the tab thing..

i doubt its a bug in mozilla, most likely whatever it is is a bug in other programs or its because its using some non-standard feature of IE.

ElFenix, every other program seems to work..... like openoffice. This is regarding the scroll thing.

However, it's not that big of an issue actually, there's an option to do "ctrl+wheel" or "shift+wheel" that has the same effect. I actually like it more... now i just need to find an old MS explorer mouse ..

the only thing that still bugs me is i can't use the back/forward buttson on the keyboard. I don't have anything on my mouse for that since i use ctrl/shift there (for gaming and for copy/move in explorer). Oh well.

How about right click to open the drop down menu and then click back :).

I'm using Mozilla 1.0 now, and the #*$@ scroll bar is still broken. It works great in IE and Netscape 4.x, so what's the deal with Mozilla?

I filed a bug report about this a few weeks ago, but it's still broken in the release build. What's the deal with that?

How do you have it NOT use your default Netscape settings? I just installed it and it's running with my moms Netscape mail settings/Bookmarks

EDIT - Nevermind I'm a crackhead and just looked at the profile manager

Seems to work pretty well after you get all the options configured correctly.

Lots faster than IE especially with "no images from this server" checked.

It's crap like that which makes me not want to use Mozilla. Why haven't they fixed things like this yet? And why doesn't the scrollwheel work properly in Mozilla? Works in every other program just fine. They can let you scroll with it but when you press the button you can't get the same thing as you get in every other program - why? Why not even an option for this? Ugh.. It's all nice to have a bunch of features, but when you don't even have the same simple functionality... come on!

I dont' know what you're talking about. My scrollwheel works just fine.

well thats an issue in itself isnt it? if it works for you and not him its a serious quality issue.

Not as serious as the constant security-holes in IE IMO ;)

anyone else having problems w/ the mousewheel failing to scroll sometimes... that and the cursor disappears (like for typing here and in the address bar) ?

i should add scrolling by clicking middle button works w/ it set to "autoscroll" in the drivers... usually i have it set to middle button (for games) and everything else seems to pick it up as autoscroll. but it's slow as hell.. i just use the modifiers in mozilla now.

what is tab browsing and how do I use it? I just downloaded it just to see how it is. It's quite nice and fast.

It looks a lot like Netscape. Hmm, is there any more need to use netscape if I can just use this?

It means that websites are opened in new tabs inside your browser. So you only need one browser-window

It looks like Netscape because Netscape is based on Mozilla ;). I guess Netscape has some additional features that Mozilla lacks (I'm not 100% sure about that though), but Mozilla is always more current than Netscape is (new version of Mozilla are released quickly).
