Could you please expound on the virtues of mozilla, please, so that I may better appreciate why it is you have provided us with this doubtless, though as yet unverified, important link. Naturally, I can read. I just seek to avoid doing so, and would rather hear it from a resident enthusiast anyway.

Just downloaded the source code now. There is much anticipation in the air as it compiles... :D

Actually, I'm not a Mozilla-enthusiast :). I use other browsers instead (namely Konqueror). But as to the virtues of Mozilla:

1. It runs on several platforms. Windows, Linux, Mac etc.
2. It renders pages fast
3. It has tabbed browsing!
4. It has alot less security-holes that IE does.
5. It has all kinds of nifty little features (like "block images from this server". great with banners!)

It's cross platform. Runs on a lot of OSs. I like it because I can have the same browser on windows and linux. Just like open office and gimp.

Just saw this and must have gotten in before the rush to the servers. Mozilla 1.0 is now installed on my machine.

edit: Block images from this server is great. Definitely helps when browsing the forums here. One less thing to load.

Started out downloading fine for me, then it hit the wall. Crap. Guess I'll have to wait a while. I've switched over to Mozilla at work. Tabbed browsing rules. Only 1 window to have to hide.

LOL, it just came out! Hahaha. What a bunch of unfounded BS. Sure, it could have less security holes, but you sure like jumping to conclusions don't you?

It hasn't just come out. I've been using betas for over a year.

So, just because it's been in beta testing for over a year, it is more secure than IE? You sound like Microsoft before Windows 95.

IE's stellar security track record speaks volumes for itself. It doesn't need defenders like you to support it. :D
