Here we go with all of the Columbia hatred again. Every six months, this topic gets brought up and I end of defending Columbia against all of your ATOT haters.

Hey we are just honest, you are just in denial 😛

Meet me at the Columbia Mall at 7:30pm and we'll settle this once and for all!!!

And that goes for any others here who have a problem with Columbia! 😀

i'd prefer not to - i got mugged a half-mile from there.

i'll stay where i'm nice and safe - in the city.

Really, you got mugged? Details???

I lived in Columbia, a half mile from the mall in fact. In one of those neighborhoods with the homes that looked like doblewides on a foundation.

Share the details, might make me laugh a bit. What neighborhood was this in?

Federal Hill and Canton are pretty nice. I live in Canton now and I really like it.

BTW, do you live near Old Dobbin Lane?

Yea, I live right off of 175 actually.

And you're right, Federal Hill and Canton are cool places. Fells Point is alright as well. I guess I'm just an old fart in a 24 year old's body. I couldn't imagine living in those areas because of the party scene.

i have never been to baltimore...but i wouldn't trust krunchy for 1 second 😛

we all know... DC>B-More.😉

Why go to the Columbia Mall when Arundel Mills is so close?

Oh, wait, Arundel Mills blows.

Although I did work there 5 years ago and know all the super secret shortcuts through the "middle' of the mall. So instead of taking 15 minutes to get from Muvico to Best Buy it takes 5. I WILL NOT GIVE UP MY SECRETS. If you're adventurous, you'll figure it out pretty quick though.

how's your basketball team doing? oh wait.😉

I don't why everyone likes the inner harbor so much...

It's way too touristy for me and filled with people looking for handouts. Little Italy is less then a mile away and has better food🙂

Face it, when's the last time we had anything to do in Columbia? And lets not get started on the people.

Although, the one good thing is having like 50 places to eat around here.

What exactly do you want to do? I like the fact that there's no party scene in Columbia. I know what you mean regarding the people here, but I much prefer the Columbia people over the Baltimore people.

You mean you don't like getting approached by crackheads at the traffic lights in B-More??

i lived in one of the Avalon Hills communities (Columbia Rd, on the golf course) and was walking back home with a friend from 7-11 one night around 11:00. we heard footsteps behind us for a minute or so and, since i was in the glorious Eden that is Columbia, i never thought to check who was behind me. big mistake.

arms were around our throats before we even knew the footsteps had reached us. my friend was choked out pretty well whereas my guy decided it would be more fun to punch me in the face repeatedly. i protected my nose from being broken as best i could when he threatened to kill us and demanded our wallets. we weren't in a position to fight/argue (i never saw anything except this dude's forearm), so we complied. when i went for my wallet he kicked me to the ground and went for a few gansta-style face-stomps on the curb, though he didn't manage any direct blows. i still have all my teeth.

f*ck, i still get pissed off recounting that 2.5 years later. if i had any warning of the attack i would've loved to beat the sh*t outta that guy, but it's probably better that i didn't have the chance. oh well. hope they enjoyed the combined $6 dollars that we had on us.
