Moving the Documents and Settings folder

Does anybody know how to point the Documents and Settings folder to another hard drive? Currently, it installs to the same drive as the OS. I would like to set up a system that has a C drive that contains the OS and the applications and a D drive containing all of the user's stuff. I was able to redirect My Documents to the D drive, but it would be nice to point the whole folder over to D.

Thanks, Mitch

I use TweakUI to redirect My Documents" from the standard Documents & Settings for individual users. I think the only way to do it for eveyone on the system is to use an answer file during the install. You could go through the laborius task of scanning the registry (as admin) and changing the default directory, but that will only work for *new* users (not existing users).

Yep, this worked great. Now I have the OS (Win2K) on the C: drive and the "Documents and Settings" on the D: drive. This way when I make an image of the OS-Drive, all the user profile data doesn't go with it. Then if I have to restore an old image I don't lose any user files saved since the image was made.

Thanks again.
