The worse part of moving when I moved into my house was undoing all my computer/server equipment, then having to set it all up again. That's my first world problem.

Never again!

I've never understood people who thought moving was a big deal. I've lived in over 25 houses, condos and apartment and moving again is not really a big deal to me. It's about 2 or 3 days of work, BFD.

Depends where you are in life. In college I could move in a couple of hours. Now, with 3 kids 2 dogs and a wife....Shit its like planning out the damn Invasion of Normandy......

My last move was one of the most physically and mentally exhaustive situations I've had in a long time.

I liked it a lot better in the 70's.

I had a 1968 VW camper van with a pop-top and if it didn't fit in the van (with the top in the raised position) it didn't go.

Since everything had to fit in one trip all the essentials went in first but if it didn't fit it was left behind.

It definately didn't work like that on my last move. :(

I'll be feeling your pain shortly...leaving with the truck on October 6. I did keep the boxes for my home theater, TV, computer monitor, etc so hopefully that'll go easily..but I am not looking forward to packing the garage. At all.

Need any boxes? ;). I may not even be unpacked by then.

Just got word that we are *still* waiting on the appraisal report for the new house. It was done on 9/14, so it's ridiculous that we haven't received it.

Our goods may have to go into storage when we get there until when we can actually close, what a pain.
