I'm looking for a program that will allow me to clear up my Win2k taskbar by moving the apps to the system tray, so it will just show the icon.

Does such a program exist?

You want to move stuff off of the task bar (the little grey bar) into the system tray(by the clock)? If you want stuff to be allways running in the background (that is what the system tray does) then add the programs to the start menu under <START><PROGRAMS><STARTUP>. Is that what you are asking?

No, all that does is start the program at startup. The the program was designed to run in the system tray, that's where it would start.

I'm looking for something that would take a program the was designed to run in the taskbar and move it to the system tray.

I've never heard of a program that would do that for any application you are running. I understand completely what you are asking. The only programs I've seen that have been able to do that is the ones that are programmed to do that. Like some programs you can bring up, but when you minimize them, they stick them in the tray.
