Moving stinks...

I'm flying into Orlando to find an apartment this Monday. This is my fourth move since 2006. Blech. I hate moving.

I might even buy a condo in my old building. It will be like I never left.

Fly down, find apartment, fly back, get my Explorer, drive it down, fly back, get rental truck, load truck, drive truck down (towing Crown Vic), fly back, grab wife, fly down... take a vacation (not really) start work immediately.

Why not tow a trailer with your Explorer and make the wife drive the Crown Vic? Saves an awful lot of money and time if you ask me.

Jeez, dude. Find a friend to drive down with you and fly him/her back...hell, I'd do it for you, but I doubt you want to pay to fly me to Indiana and then back to NH from Florida.

How about 'drive down in Explorer, fly back, rent/load truck, drive back with wife driving CV'?

I HATE moving. I hope I never have to do it again. I can't imagine moving now that I've lived in my house for a few years, I've accumulated so much shit.

Yeah, I thought about driving the A'Sploder down now but I can't waste a day driving this week. The timing sucks, any other time I'd just drive it down first. Also, the wife is committed to work up until the end of May and she won't be able to help with the move. Basically she has to leave work here on Friday and be back to work June 1 (Monday) in Orlando (same company, just transferring offices) - so I need to get the move done first. Argh!!!!!

We've got way to much crap to pull behind the SUV, we need a truck.

The one good thing about moving that often is that you never get completely unpacked. The longer you stay in one place the harder it gets.
