Moving RAID0 from one controller to the next

If I make a RAID0 array now on my Highpoint HPT374, will it work on other hard drive controllers like an ICH6R in the future or will I have to reformat.
 
maybe.. someone should know.. i remember seeing people with different chip and having problems..

this doesn't happen to any of my scsis.. swap out adaptec, lsi, ami raid w/o problem
