I enjoyed Signs up until the end.

That goes for most Sci-Fi movies. If the aliens win it's bad, if the aliens lose they look weak and it's bad. It's tough to have them present the proper degree of menace while still letting the humans win in the end. Movies like War of the Worlds and Signs that have the big bad aliens taken down by something so simple are an insult.

I didn't like the religious "coming to God" part of it...started me down the path of no longer liking Mel Gibson.

Also have to agree with Million Dollar Baby...it was a good movie and then all of a sudden it took a 90 degree turn to the left.

Need to add Man on Fire, while it's one of my favorite movies in recent years I thought the alternate ending was so much better.

Shaolin vs Evil Dead - It dosen't end, it stops!
Akira - Caught this on TV last night. Ending is too bloody long, very end almost impossible to know for certain what happened.
House of Flying Daggers - Stupid movie! Stop following my advice when I try and mock you!
Curse of the Golden Flower - Everyone but the right bloody people die. So screwed up.
AI - I can't say I love the movie (far from it) but everyone and their brother agrees that ending was a stinker. Should have ended with him sitting on the bottom of the ocean, freezing to death, trapped in his delusions of the blue fairy. Or, if they had to have the mother, have the real mother where she still hates him for not being her real son. That'd have fvcked him up.

What's the alternate? I was expecting to see him blow himself up along with the car full of bad guys after he gets the girl back.

Wizard of Oz - nevermind, the whole movie was a fever dream

Return of the King - roll the freaking credits already

Blow was basicially a true story, how else were they gonna end it?

Again.. some movies I just didn't like the way it ended. We know Jung was going to jail at the end, they didn't need to drag it on with the the whole "he broke a promise to his daughter" thing and his hallucination of her visiting him.

yeah ... great movie. the ending was the weak spot.

For the few people that actually saw "Invasion" with Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman.. that was the worst ending to a movie.. ever... period.

Crank's ending sent me off the deep end the first few times. Then I heard that theres a sequel and I went nuts. He should have died!@!!

I wasn't sure if it would ever end, so I went ahead and turned it off.

Has anyone mentioned Reign of Fire yet? The ending felt like they ran out of money and had to snip the last third of the script.

It's not that it was a bad ending, but I hated the ending of Seven.

Also, I found this discussion of Lord of the Rings (and specifically the part about the ending of Return of the King) to be rather amusing. Ending is discussed at about the 2:20 point.

The alternate ending for Seven would have provided a little more closure. I'm not sure if I would consider it better though.

Wow, the last third of Sunshine was stupid. I understand all of the reasons they wrote it that way, and it's still retarded. There was just no need to take it in that direction.
