And the final one that deserves and Honorable Mention:
Executive Decision.

I mean, Steven Seagal dies in the first 10 minutes...Not the protagonist, but that was probably one of the funniest things i've ever seen a character that's listed 2nd in the opening credits happen to. And that's the reason it deserved an Oscar...

I was so waiting for Steven Seagal to be riding on the tail of the plane and then kick some arse at the end of the movie.

Name some movies where the main protagonist ends up "losing" the battle and dies.

I'll start: Passion of the Christ

Dude, you left too early.

While he did die very close to the end, in the final scene, he is up and walking around again.

Um....Jesus rises from the dead and redeems all of man's sins....I don't think you can get much farther from losing...

I take it your all referred to the death of Optimus Prime.

Yeah, I cried too.

Fvking write spoiler or somethign dammnit

I know! some people ruin everything for you . . . .
Goosemaster vs. brunswickite* <------ I think it went straight to video and it's really, really hard to find (in the real world) -- AND the sex scenes are more than a bit disturbing -- especially when the two vie for the favors of that penguin out on that lonely, lonely ice floe; but both protagonists do die an unbelievably icky slow motion death from paper cuts and non-heart-healthy outrage complicated by carpal tunnel syndrome in a furious hail of viscious yet juvenile insults and lethally honed retorts.

* Unrated, not due to bestiality and frontal nudity masked only by small form factor keyboards, but because of nested quoting so diabolically unreadable that it caused a tragically oversensitve 16 year old reader in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to give up in deep despair and take his own life with an illegally sharpened joystick.

lol

Most jingoistic, sickeningly contrived POS I ever laid my eyes upon. It was so bad I actually stopped watching it for fear of vomiting my own blood in disgust.
