How about ending of Erin Brockovich when she got the check for $2 mil? I NEVER cry, but here I almost did.

Deep Impact...when the dude that went blind couldn't see his son...and never got to see him cuz his wife was pregnant while he still on earth...what a bummer....and he pretended he could see for them...

Recent Ones:
Grave of the Fireflies (man that's a depressing movie, but really good) I'll second RagingBITCH on the Lion King. I get heartbroken when Simba's father dies.
Schindler's List

When I was Younger (and probably now too):
The Velveteen Rabbit
The Snowman(You know, that animated short about a boy and a snowman).
Watership Down
E.T.
Charly (Flowers for Algernon)
Steel Magnolias (Only because I haven't seen it in a long long time)

Other tearjerkers:
With Honors
A Time to Kill
Romeo and Juliet (The newer one)
Armageaddon

The list goes on...It's not that I'm overly sentimental...Most movies as a whole don't phase me, but some have little parts where it hits home.

God... probably more than I have fingers and toes. Movies really get to me. Off the top of my head

Cider House Rules
Magnolia
Phenomenon
Terms Of Endearment (whoa I'm a goner by the end of that one)
Braveheart
City of Angels
The Green Mile
Schindler's List

I somewhat got teary eyed in A Knight's Tale when William returns to his home and finds his blind father.

don't forget patriot
when his youngest daughter starts running towards mel gibson calling to him and promising to say anything he wants her to as long as he doesnt go... that got to me..
Also when the older son dies.

<< And 'Dumbo' poor little fella having to be seperated from his mom like that >>

No kidding...Also "The Fox and the Hound". I guess cartoons just get me all emotional

Hmm, I usually control the tears I think, but sometimes they really try to come out:

T2 (Arnold is the best BTW) 🙂
Of course Braveheart

Damnit, I thought of some others earlier... be back w/ more .. lol

I rarely cry for anything, but there are a couple movies that really did it.

American History X
Basketball Diaries(leonardo decaprio is the GREAT in this movie)
Flowers in the attic(very sad book/movie)
and the one that always got to me
E.T.

I haven't seen it all, but watching Saving Private Ryan made me cry. Supposedly it was supposed to be the closest thing to the real deal. I'm quite the patriot. It's touching to say the least to see what people went through to make sure that I could bitch about anything I want and be ungreatful for everything and call it freedom. :|

dayum, I suck.

🙁

Movies that made me cry:

The Sixth Sense:
I didn't know until the end. Very touching. 🙁

Pay It Forward:
It's not fair, he was innocent.

Pearl Harbor:
The whole movie was all about drama/crying moments.

These are the most recent movies that come to mind.
I'm going to see A.I. I have a feeling that that's
going to make me cry too. 🙁

I love movies... even though i dont pay for most of them... (crap... FBI... wait im not in the US.. 🙂yayaya)..

back to the post...

movies are one of the greatest inventions of mankind... there is always a movie you can find that can make you feel like that movie was actually based on your life. Whenever i go through a depression or a sad moment in my life.. i go to Blockbuster or (here in canada) rogers video. or in the middle of the night (like right now) direct connect. The most touching movie that i have ever watched has been Braveheart. Each battle that William Wallace fought reminded me of a moment of my life when i was depressed and this movie has enlightened me many times. From the movies coming out these days none have effects on me like the good epic dramas (Braveheart, Green Mile, Forrest Gump, The Last Emperor). But then again there must be a time when you can just sit down, watch a movie, and put your brain on pause.....

i actually did put my brain on pause...and now to continue....

Movies like all the James Bond movies, Charlies Angels... American Pie... and all those other great... wonderful movies that tickle the funny-bone in you... gotta give em that...

Im out..
