Oh man, Edge of Tomorrow looks fucking awesome. Cruise, Liman, sci-fi? WOOT.

Others that look decent to me:

Unbroken
Neighbors
Transformers (nothing great or original here, but I'm sure it'll be entertaining)
Chef
Godzilla (trailer looked awesome)
Maze Runner
Jack Ryan
Jupiter Ascending
Fury

Bah that's enough. Looks to be a good year, IMO anyway.

Yep. Transformers 4 should be an enjoyable return to the franchise, and honestly, I thoroughly expect it to be the best of the series.

Godzilla will just be awesome fun.

Jack Ryan should be good, though probably not award-material, at least something just as enjoyable as the character usually is. Pine should be good for it too, great actually.

I haven't even seen the trailer for Jupiter Ascending, but I'm already sold - the brothers with original content, oh, and Mila Kunis. Her and good acting roles is awesome - and you could see the twinkle of quality in Max Payne, but the directing/writing wasn't necessarily stellar. Much like how well Lucas can make stars look like drama class failures, it didn't give her a good light.
I loved her in Black Swan.

Speaking of, as much as I generally dislike biblical stories, I want to see Noah. Aronofsky + epic conflict/big budget? Uh... here's my wallet, take what you want.

And then, the master of them all... Christopher Nolan. More importantly, both brothers are working on it.
This is the first I've seen of any clues regarding the plot: "A group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage."
I'm surprised I hadn't looked on IMDB for that prior to now. Then again, perhaps I did and at the time there was no synopsis.
No guarantee it's accurate, but it seems very likely, and on the face of it, fitting for their approach to space.
I'm hoping for more The Prestige or a jazzed-up Memento (they've made their directorial and writing abilities well-honed since then) as opposed to the more epic approach to Inception and the Batman trilogy. I'd love it just the same, but the whole idea of exploring the unknown and how that impacts the characters... a more intimate style could make for a slew of awards.

Plenty of other movies this year. It definitely looks like nobody can truly proclaim that Hollywood is tired and unoriginal these days - there looks to be a slew of actual quality material coming down the line this year.

And more potentially epic A-list Sci-fi in one year than I remember in a long time. I'm looking forward to that - a mix of epic action and hopefully a thinking-type or two mixed in.

I watched the trailer and still have no idea what to expect from the movie.

No idea.

30. "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes"
Ugh, when will they stop making stupid apes movies.

29. "Neighbors"
Could be interesting?

28. "How to Train Your Dragon 2"
Nope.

27. "The Fault in Our Stars"
Shailene Woodley is good, but no idea on this movie.

26. "Unbroken"
Possibly good.

25. "Transformers: Age of Extinction"
Hahahaha. The worst part is, i'll watch this, i know it.
Just for the lulz and stupidly entertaining transformers probably.

24. "Chef"
Hmm, maybe?

23. "The LEGO Movie"
No thanx

22. "Godzilla"
I'll probably be seeing this even if it's not good.

21. "The Maze Runner"
Not sure, but post-apocalyptic means more investigation

20. "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit"
Argh, KK is in this. Otherwise this looks like crap.

19. "Jupiter Ascending"
Sure, looks fun regardless of quality.

18. "The Grand Budapest Hotel"
Holy cast. This looks very interesting.

17. "The Interview"
I'm intrigued.

16. "Fury"
Eh

15. "22 Jump Street"
Oh horray, another one.

14. "Monuments Men"
Loaded cast, could be decent.

13. "The Hobbit: There And Back Again"
I haven't even seen the second one yet, but yes.

12. "Gone Girl"
Sure? Something to look into based on Fincher alone.

11. "Divergent"
I have a feeling this is going to be bad, which is really too bad. Hope i'm wrong.

10. "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"
Sure.

9. "Noah"
Yep.

8. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"
Blah, didn't care for them rebooting Spidey again.

7. "Maleficent"
Does not look good.

6. "Transcendence"
I've got concerns about this one.

5. "Into the Woods"
Ehhhh, musicals. D:

4. "Guardians of the Galaxy"
Yeah dunno about this.

3. "X-Men: Days of Future Past"
Oh probably.

2."The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I"
Didn't like 1, haven't seen 2, but i doubt i will care enough to see this.

1. "Interstellar"
Oh my yes.

So basically a lotta crap coming out, but fortunately there should be a lot of great stuff coming out not on that list :D

Under the Skin, anyone seen it (i know you have KT).

It isn't coming to theatres here which is extremely disappointing, so i'll have to wait till god knows when to see it.
