I need something to do because I am at home sick, and tired of playing Xbox. What are some good movies you've seen that don't get a lot of hype. There isn't really much on Blockbuster's new release that interests me. Underworls and Shade look remotely interesting..

COUGH!

What are you in the mood for? Funny, intense, dark, stupid?

Any of these?

Requiem for a Dream
Oceans 11
Shawshank Redemption
Fight Club
The Rundown (all action, no plot, fairly entertaining)

sooo many great movies that'll stir up your emotions (both positive and negative)

1. must-see heart warming movies:
Shawshank Redemption
Braveheart
Ray (when it's out on DVDs anyway)
Anything Pixar (esp. Nemo)

brainfreeze.. that's all I have to contribute for now.

i saw King Arthur last night at a friends and that movie was great! it really was alot better than I had though it would be. he has some copies of movies though and I think this one was because it had a wierd language menu at first, then went to an english menu. so i don't know if this is out on dvd or not yet. we watched it from a dvd on his xbox though, and this movie really was great, i reall recommend it.

I saw King Arthur at the local discount theatre. It was good 🙂

Comedy, action, or drama/mystery would top the list. Seen Shawshank many times, very good flick. I think I might give Rundown a try. Any others?

edit: BigFish any good?

and i personally liked Van Helsing, as much as other people bashed it. i thought it was a good movie 🙂

Saw that this weekend (today is my 4th day of being sick). It was a good mindless action flick. Plus the lady vampires didn't hurt either 😀

I said it was entertaining, I did not say it was a great use of time. 🙂

Of course, if he's "sick" today, the time has already been wasted, so why not watch a bad movie.

So I got Around the World in 80 days because I like Jackie Chan, even though I know exactly what's going to happen before I even load the movie. Then I got House of Sand and Fog, which looks interesting especially since Jennifer Connolly is in it.

The house of Sand and Fog is an excellent movie. The ending tugs at your heart something fierce.

Hope your feeling better.
