Movie Question, for the movie watchers

I was recently talking with a friend about movies with high death tolls. The only ones I can really think of are.

Star Wars episode 4, a planet, a death star and a lot of troops and pilots.

Titan AE: Well the earth does get destroyed......

But they are both Sci-Fi.

Wing Commander 3, yea ok it's a game but you destroy the Killrathi home planet at the end.

What movies have the biggest death toll, non-planet destroying movie?

What movie just has the biggest death toll with no limitations?

Anyone know?

Top non-planet destroying movie death toll.
T3- From ShotgunSteven

Top Death Toll no limitations.
Starwars Episode 4? Figure 1 planet 6 Billion-1Deathstar Crew 1.2 million Couple hundred Pilots and Crew

EDIT:Death has to be on screen or suggested on screen

What about when most of mankind was wiped out when the nukes went off in T3: Rise of the Machines? The planet wasn't destroyed, just seriously downgraded. 😉

Me wonders how many billions/trillions died between H. G. Wells time machine's departure in the 19th century and its arrival in the year A.D. 802,701. That probably is tops in both categories. We are talking over 8000 centuries of renewing the planet's population. Even an average lifespan of 100 years would mean a freaking huge number of deaths.

Slaughterhouse 5 maybe?

imho, this is only an interesting discussion if you limit it to people who die onscreen...

Didn't they have a kill-counter in Hot Shots 2 as well? Now if we were talking comic books, Miracleman #15 would be the obvious answer.
