I'm not nervous about anything. TC is a effing joke as Reacher. Will never watch it...much less pay to see it. Hope the producers go bankrupt.

I would have preferred someone like Kevin sorbo or even a dolph lundgren over cruise for this
 
Cruise is definitely not the right actor for the part. He is way too short and doesnt have the physical presence that Reacher has in the books. I have no plans on paying to see this and might watch it on netflix, if at all.
 
Cruise's career is definitely on the downslope. This movie will bomb, and Tom will be offered fewer and fewer roles until he finally slips into obscurity. Honestly, his best work of late has been character roles like the one he did in Tropic Thunder.

"Who the fuck is Jack Reacher?"

I'm going to guess that more people know who Tom Cruise is than Jack Reacher, and are asking that question. Most won't give a shit how big/small he is in the book. They'll probably watch it for an action movie like Tom Clancy movies, then maybe (big maybe) read a book or two.

Dwayne Johnson sounds like he'd fit the part, but you cast Dwayne as a good supporting character or the star of a pure fun/action movie. I love The Rock, but he wouldn't fit the serious tone the movie appears to be. Same goes for Vin Diesel with less fun.

Well, not to nitpick, but he usually goes at about 220. Of course, after a full summer of digging swimming pools in Florida, yes, he was at 250. But he lost it after his run-in with Hobie (C.A.).

Killing Floor.

Premise is that he's an ex MP, just recently out of the service, taking in the scenery and doing a little personal travel when he stumbles into something.
 
Hah gotcha. Being an ex-mp myself I suppose that I'll quickly have an opinion on the book. Will add to my reading list.
 
The only reason I might go see this is that the villain with the german accent is Werner Herzog, my favorite director.
