Great movie till the ending:

Immortals:
1) the enemy is rushing into the tunnel. where the hell are the archers defending the tunnel that were there in an earlier scene?!

2) Why the hell is there stairs leading up to the throne room at the END of the tunnel, a few feet from the outer wall?

3) Why didnt some of the enemy go up those stairs?! why only the enemy king?

4) Why didnt the enemy king just make a hole in the dam to allow his army thru. why just blow up the wall with the tunnel?
Multiple shots of his super bow would have made a hole in anything.

5) when the Gods (ie: Zeus+crew) fought the titans, why were there only 5 of them?! from my greek mythology, there were lots of Greek gods.

6) if zeus could bury the titans again and fly out of there, then why did they stay and fight hand to hand?! (causing 3 of the 5 Gods to die, and Athena nearly dead)

7) What happened to the Oracle's vision of Theseus embracing the enemy king while hold the Bow? The Oracle is supposely never wrong?!

So much promise, then it seemed the writers had to wrap everything up in quickly.
uuggggg... 😡

I agree with some of your points.

1. Agree totally. Why the peasant even allow to speak and lead the charge? Why didn't they have the archers and somekind of secondary level of defense?

If king Hyperion has the bow, just shot the hell out of that sucker and win the battle, why even bother to send in the whole army.

I thought the Titans have similar power as the Gods, why they did fight hand to hand and not by magic power (as when Zeus killed one of his men when he did not listen to him).

Overall, it was a decent movie with good 3D effect. Oracle and Zeus's blondie daughter were HOOTTTTT.

So I watched this mostly because there wasn't much on and the wife really wanted to go out that weekend. It was consistent in that it didn't make any god damn sense throughout and ignored Greek mythology. I agree the final battle made no sense.

The most hilarious thing about the movie to me was how the gods were real and blew shit up...but the minotaur had to be a metaphor for a giant dude with a bull mask. The magic bow was obviously real but minotaurs aren't? And the magic bow...why didn't he just leave it where he found the fucking thing or throw it into the ocean and then deflower the Oracle. Tada, problem solved. Its sort of like the one ring...pretty useful but so much more useful for the bad guy that it isn't worth the risk. On top of all that, he used it a total of one time before it was stolen.

It was worth watching though for me. It wasn't the most horrible movie I've seen and since the movie theater screwed up and cut the subtitles off we were given two free passes so I essentially watched it for free.
