there was a movie in which there was a woman cyborg/robot. i think it was in the late 80/ early 90's

the scene i remebr is she dials in to the phone then makes a squeal that kills the guy when he answers the phone.
 
you know, that reminds me. there was a movie about a group of people stuck on an island, they can't leave because there is a coat of some type of material on the water that acts like acid. the bad guy puts some in a flask and gives it to one of the other guys. of course it eats through his stomach. i think they also end up fighting some type of giant crabs or something. anybody have any idea what movie that was?

i remember eve of destruction...oh and cyborg II. haha.

yeah, no problem. i just went to the site you said wasn't helpful and picked a couple of movies from that time period.
