Moved into a apartment

So off with my Z560's and on with the headphones. These will be used for gaming(mostly) and music. Would be nice to have a mic but isn't a must since I focus on playing not talking while playing online. How's the 5.1 headphones out there or are they a joke? Probably don't want to spend more than $50-100. They must sound better than my Koss KCS35's(even though nothing special but they sound decent for low end).
