Move Windows Default folders

I would like to move the following folders to a different location (and Wins XP knows about ti and can work with these folders properly!!)

- Desktop
- Recent (which Windows record all my recently opened files)
- Cookies (which is used by IE)
- History (which is used by IE)
- program files directory (ie C:\Program Files by deafault)

Just wonder if it is possible to do.
Thanks for your help.

Have you used this?
Do you know where the settings are located.
I'm still looking for these entries.

No unfortunately.
The only it can do is moving Desktop, but sometimes the desktop will restore itself to the default location.

This is what folder redirection is for (at least in a domain environment). I'm not sure if you can do it in a standalone machine using gpedit.msc, but you probably could within the registry. Ask Mr. Google for more info about folder redirection.

Sorry, appears I forgot to check my threads for awhile there.

In the X-teq Classic section:
System -> File system -> Folders -> Data -> General Folders #1. Desktop is there
System -> File system -> Folders -> System -> Windows Folders #3. Recent Documents is there.

As for the Program Files folder, I'm not sure.
