When I upgraded to Win2k I supplied a user name and contiued with the installation process. However I noticed that there are two setting in the users and passwords I can not chabge. Those are the Admin and Guest. Therefore I want to move my profile settings to the adminstrator profile if it is the possible. Later remove my personal setting on my old profile. Does anyone know how to do this or better yet is it even possible to remove the Admin user?

Just logon as the administrator and under your profile (Settings>Control Panel>Users and passwords>properties>group membership)change it to administrators.

I dont want to change my group setting to Admin I am already a Admin. However their is another Admin setting that you can log on as Admin that I cant get rid of. It wont let me remove it so can I transfer my persoanl profiles and settings to the generic admin profile.

Thanks but that was not what I ment.

I see...you just want one admin account. Yea, the first time , I did the same thing but just deleted that profile from my admin logon. You must already have all your stuff set up on your personal profile and too big of a hassle to just set it up under the admin login. I'm pretty sure you cannot remove the Admin profile...but you maybe able to transfer them over...I just don't know how. Sorry.

Clocker,

One thing that you can try is to go to the Admin profile and point the Profile path to your profile. I think that will work for you in this instance
