Move Over PocketPC, The new Cliés are here!!!

Looks very cool but I think they need a faster cpu bigtime 66mhz sounds weak... In the pocket PCs they use a 207mhz cpu..........

I totally agree....I believe that they also need to move to the PocketPC platform.

As for CPU, we'll have to wait and see.

If everything runs snappy and with no probs, then what's the prob?

Well, at least they're moving in the right direction. PalmOS 5 will have support for ARM.

I agree

Also they look a little flimsy and with my luck it would be trashed in no time

Apperantly OT people haven't seen it.

Plus, this is a bit more indepth than its intro....

i like it (the one w/o the camera). All i need is just a palm device, w/ a nice screen, and color. just i want it for $100 😛 What i wish more ppl would do what handera did, a hide-away grafiti pad (and it shows your strokes). i've played w/ the ipaq (dunno if its for all ppc's), and in notes, i like the input method much better.

oh my....i'm drooling. i have a sony clie 760n, and i'm thinking i'll sell it off to get this new badboy once it comes out! 🙂

It looks very easy to break.

It's only a matter of time before the PocketPC platform dominates the PDA market, if they don't already.

Where's NFS4 at?

<< As most of you already know, the new Clié with its 320x480 color screen runs Palm OS 4.1 on a 66MHz Dragonball SuperVZ processor, offers virtual Graffiti and a thumb keyboard, and has 16 MB of RAM and 10 MB Flash ROM. Now the bad news: battery life averages 5 hours with brightness at 70%, 7 hours if used as a dedicated MP3 player with the screen off. >>

FYI, the HP Jornada 567/568 can run 10.5 - 11 hours with the backlight off playing MP3's. It's about the 9.5 - 10 hours for the iPAQ 3800 series and the Casio E-200. You do the math for daily usage at 70% brightness for PocketPCs 😀

Very slowly all the Palm zealots' arguments FOR Palms are disappearing....

Palms are becoming like...........Pocket PC's 🙂

BUT, I do think the new Sony's look real cool...
