"Move Over, Hoover"?

I just read an opinion piece on the Washington Post website about GWB being viewed historically as the worst US President ever. As pointed out in the article he has two years left.

Of course it can be and will be debated about how GWB compares to his peers, Clinton, GHWB, Reagan, et al.

What do you think would have to happen in the next two years for GWB to be remembered as one of the best Presidents?

What if the Special Forces take care of Bin Laden?
I don't think that would change anything. Still five years too late.
As if that has anything to do with Bush's ability to lead the nation. I'm sure it would inspire a brief optimistic view of his Presidency. History is not nearly so kind, remember.

Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking of new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we

-Fix Social Security Problem
-Get U.S. troops out of Iraq, preferrably keeping the Iraqi government stable
-Find Bin Laden
-Find a solution to the nuclear dispute with Iran without putting boots on the ground.
-Do the same with North Korea

They have to be clearly worng, the resident Republicans in here swear he is the greatest President ever.

All it would take is a re-writing off all historical events relating to all other presidents and giving credit to GWB instead.

Is there that much LSD available in the world? You'd have to be hallucinating your as$ off to think Chimpy McFlightsuit was anything better than mediocre...

We have all unwittingly put our finger on the greatest new danger----by all objective measures GWB has made a total botch of his Presidency---with Iraq being an elective blunder of the first magnitude.

But like a gambler who is behind to the casino---GWB is far too likely to try to recoup his legacy by undertaking new risky gambles---and already his advisor's---so rumor has it---are telling GWB he will be a failed President if he does not deal with Iran---so GWB may just try an elective strike against Iran---and its well within his Presidential power to order such a strike anytime.

Its also worth saying that any comparison to Hoover is unfair---because Hoover's entire life was built on an unbroken string of success after success---in private industry and in government service---and the best that GWB can boast in his life among many prior failures is that he was Governor of Texas---a post without real political power and largely ceremonial.----but Hoover was undone by a decade of Republican rule that had finally killed off the base of the economic food chain---the American worker---and when the average person could no longer afford to buy---big business succeeded in killing off the customer and the depression started---------and GWB's economic policies are creating exactly that scenario again---as the very few rich do very well---and everyone else falls backward.

GWB is not even fit to be compared to Hoover.

To BoomerD---who asks---regarding making GWB seem anything but the worst President ever----Is there that much LSD available in the world?

The current answer may be currently no---but it does sound like a job for Haliburton---who
could repair their tarnished public image in the process.---and maybe avoid some of their top officers being jailed also.--------brilliant---simple brilliant---Haliburton should pay you a bundle for suggesting it.
